Washington State Adult Education Advisory Council (AEAC)
Mission
The Adult Education Advisory Council will work collaboratively and as individuals to ensure the availability and quality of adult literacy and basic skills services by:
- Advocating for adult literacy and basic skills.
- Supporting, improving and expanding partnership, collaboration and coordination among the state’s adult literacy and basic skills stakeholders, providers and external partners at every level.
- Influencing planning at the local, state, regional, and federal levels as they recommend goals, priorities, and outcomes to include adult literacy and basic skills learners and services.
- Identifying and helping to secure resources for adult literacy and basic skills.
