Institute Purpose
- Provide practical topics, instructional strategies and implications for teaching that convey how people learn and promote active engagement of learners.
- Acquaint faculty with the diversity of students and faculty at Washington State's two-year colleges.
- Expand faculty perspectives by interacting and exchanging ideas with peers.
- Communicate that colleges are part of a system designed to provide significant learning experiences for students and support for individual colleges.
- Present information and resources on legal issues, tenure, and retirement planning.
