Lift and Shift Project

The scope of this project is replacement of the HP3000s with next-generation HP-UX hardware and limited changes to legacy core applications and databases so they can successfully function on the modern computer hardware platforms. It is expected that this approach will provide an estimated productive functional lifespan of 10 years, providing sufficient timeframe for SBCTC to implement a long-term strategy of modernizing the core applications with a commercial Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution.
