Guide to completing Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act (EADA) Form
Each year college’s have been required to provide as required by section 485(g) of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended, 20 USC 1092(g)(also known as the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act) data on a Federal Web site. Each college is sent information annually to gain access to the site and with the deadline date. You will be reporting participation numbers, scholarships, program budgets and expenditures, and coaching salaries by gender.
The data you have reported is to provide prospective student-athletes the information to help them to make decisions about their potential or continued enrollment in a postsecondary institution. Prospective and current students, and the public, use the information to assess an institution’s commitment to and progress toward gender equity in its intercollegiate athletic program.
