What is the role of the SBCTC personnel office?
The SBCTC personnel office advises the system regarding personnel and benefit matters related to faculty, classified, and administrative employees. The office is responsible for maintaining an affirmative action recruiting database for use by the two-year college system, as well as conducting administrative salary surveys.
The Human Resources Director represents the system to the legislature and policy-making state agencies in matters related to faculty, administrative and classified personnel, retirement, insurance and affirmative action.
