Community and technical college board to discuss budget and tuition
OLYMPIA, Wash. – The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will meet on Wednesday, April 1, and Thursday, April 2, at the State Board office in Olympia.
The study session is scheduled from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on April 1. The regular meeting is 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on April 2.
During the two-day meeting, the Board will discuss Legislative and budget issues and 2009-11 tuition rates. No action will be taken on discussion items. The Board will also hear a presentation from the Adult Education Advisory Council and the community and technical college Mission Study Task Force.
The Board will meet for dinner on April 1 at 5:30 p.m. at Water Street Café, 610 Water Street SW, Olympia. No official business will be discussed during dinner.
Except for executive sessions, all meetings are open to the public and will be held at the SBCTC office, Cascade conference room, 1300 Quince Street SE, Olympia.
