Community and Technical College Board and Higher Education Coordinating Board convene a joint meeting
OLYMPIA, Wash. – The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will meet Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at Clover Park Technical College in conjunction with the Higher Education Coordinating Board meeting.
From 2 to 4 p.m., the State Board and HECB will discuss two collaborative initiatives: the Washington Higher Education Coordinating Board’s System Design Plan and the State Board for Community and Technical College’s Mission Study.
During the State Board’s regular business meeting at 4:45 p.m., the State Board will consider resolutions to approve contracts with Washington State University for the Northwest eTutoring Consortium and with the Workforce Training and Education Coordinating Board for the Opportunity Partnership Program.
From 5 to 7 p.m., the board will meet in executive session to review the performance of the executive director.
Except for executive sessions, all meetings are open to the public and will be held at Clover Park Technical College – Building 3, 4500 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Tacoma.
