Community and technical college board to consider system priorities in coming Legislative session

OLYMPIA, Wash. – The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will meet on Wednesday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the State Board office in Olympia.

Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. for meeting participants. No official action will be taken nor will official business be discussed during breakfast.

During the one-day meeting, the Board will review and take action on the Mission Study Task Force recommendations, receive a Legislative update, consider the 2010 Legislative policy principles and aerospace training fund allocations and awards, and review the Gates grant application criteria and process issues.

Except for executive sessions, all meetings are open to the public and will be held at the SBCTC office, Cascade conference room, 1300 Quince Street SE, Olympia.

This meeting, originally scheduled for Dec. 2 and 3 at Clover Park Technical College, has been shortened and relocated.
