Community and technical college board to discuss future
budget development and hear system enrollment report
OLYMPIA, Wash. – The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will meet on Thursday, Feb. 4, from 8:30 am to 2 pm at the State Board office in Olympia.
Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. for meeting participants. No official action will be taken nor will official business be discussed during breakfast.
During the one-day meeting, the Board will discuss development and framework of the 2011-13 operating budget and discuss the fall 2009 enrollment report. The board will also discuss and take action on Green River Community College’s acquisition of Lea Hill Park.
The Board will meet for dinner on Feb. 3 at 6 p.m. at Water Street Café, 610 Water Street SW, Olympia. No official actions will be taken nor will official business be discussed during dinner.
Except for executive sessions, all meetings are open to the public and will be held at the SBCTC office, Cascade conference room, 1300 Quince Street SE, Olympia.
This meeting was originally scheduled for Feb. 3 and 4, but was shortened to a one-day meeting.
