Community and technical college board to consider 2011-13 operating budget request and discuss future IT strategies

OLYMPIA – The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges will meet Wednesday, September 15, for its regular business meeting to consider the 34-college system’s 2011-13 operating budget request and discuss the system’s future plans to integrate system-wide computer functions into a single statewide system. The board will also consider a land exchange and acquisition for the Spokane Aerospace Technology Center.

The meeting will be held from 8:30 am to noon at the SBCTC office, Cascade conference room, 1300 Quince Street SE, Olympia.

Prior to the regular business meeting, the board will meet for its annual retreat from 2 pm on September 13 until 5:30 pm, September 14, in the Cascade conference room at the SBCTC office.
