Workforce Education

Training Today for Tomorrow's Jobs

Washington's community and technical colleges play an important role in preparing people for jobs in high demand industries. From the prospective business owner looking to hire or retrain employees to the individual looking to upgrade or learn new job skills - a community or technical college is a great place to start.

Linking Business to Education

The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) helps build regional and statewide partnerships between two-year colleges and companies, labor organizations, and industry associations.

The SBCTC works closely with the Association of Washington Business to link businesses and students with training programs at two-year colleges all over the state through a joint website, WorkforceCollege.com.

Find out more about state workforce programs administered by SBCTC.
